The 25-year-old Spanish outfield defender of Tottenham Hotspur, who previously played for Real Madrid, Sergio Regilon attracted the attention of several European clubs at once.
As the source notes, Barcelona is interested in the defender. The blue-garnet consider Sergio as an alternative to Marcos Alonso, whose transfer could block Chelsea. At the same time, Real Madrid can return the player by using the corresponding clause in the buyback contract for € 40 million, which expires next summer.
The 25-year—old Regilon is a graduate of the Madrid club. Real Madrid sold the player to Tottenham in September 2020 for € 30 million. Last season, the Region scored two goals and gave three assists in 31 matches in all competitions.
