Camp Lejeune Water Contamination

On June 16, 2022, the U.S. Senate passed the Camp Lejeune Justice Act (CLJA) by an 84-13 margin that gives former residents of Camp Lejeune who lived on the North Carolina’s Marine Corps Base for at least 30 days between August 1, 1953 and December 31, 1987 the right to seek damages.

Ref: Bloomberg - CLJA reparations for military families

Biden is supposed to sign off on this in the near future. This affects Marines & their families who lived there for over 34 years, and the CDC suspects 500,000 - 1,000,000 people were exposed.

Previously, lawsuits were denied thanks to the Federal Tort Claims Act.

This will be big.

Over on the Optimize My Firm blog we wrote Marketing for Camp Lejeune Water Contamination Cases. That article covers some of the content marketing ideas we are utilizing for our attorneys who take on Mass Torts or refer them out.

I've already begun seeing banner ads, content and PPC campaigns targeting this... If you're interested, it would be wise to start marketing for this ASAP.
