LSA for Service Area Business?

I am opening a virtual law firm shortly with no physical location. I'll have a Google Business Profile, but it will be set to "service-area business". Will I still be able to run Local Services Ads?

Yes. This is common in the world of plumbers.

Even if you hide your address on your public Google Business Profile, Google still requires a real, physical address for verification and background checks. Virtual offices or P.O. boxes are generally not eligible.

As of 2026, you'll need the SAB GBP page verified, and a minimum of 5 reviews, to run LSA. It should be noted that an LSA with only 5 reviews is unlikely to ever produce.
